Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for aggregate usage statistics — which pages are visited and roughly from where. IP addresses are processed by Google under their privacy policy. We run no ads.

Your files — the free tools

The free tools on this site — the Wafer Map Editor, the DPW calculator and the yield calculator — run entirely in your browser. Nothing you draw or compute in them is uploaded anywhere. The Wafer Map Editor autosaves to your browser's localStorage, and share links encode the map in the URL itself — your data leaves your machine only when you send someone the link.

Your files — the MAPx trial

The MAPx trial at trial.mapxcore.com is a separate, signed-in service. It is not one of the free tools above, and the statements about them do not apply to it. In the trial you create an account with your email address, name and company; we email you a sign-in code and set a session cookie so you stay signed in. Wafer map files you upload are stored on our server so the viewer can render them, and are visible only to your own account.

If you would like your trial account and the files you uploaded removed, email hi@mapxcore.com and we will delete them.

Contact

Emailing hi@mapxcore.com shares only what you choose to send. We use your message and address solely to reply.

Accounts and cookies

Browsing this site and using the free tools requires no account, and sets no cookies beyond those Google Analytics requires. The MAPx trial is the exception: it needs an account, and it sets one session cookie so you stay signed in between visits.
